My sync got stuck in the middle of the product sync. Checked API dashboard on the Mailchimp website and it seemed as it was trying to push a product over and over, without providing further info on what product was causing the issue: https://www.screencast.com/t/StxacAv3iO

Moreover, this started to take a heavy load on the server, using 95% of the CPU, so we had to deactivate the plugin.

I’m not sure if it’s having issues with products or orders (a second look at that api screenshot tells me it could be orders). However, in the Sync tab it got stuck on the product sync section, it was able to sync some products then got stuck, after an hour and given the CPU load + repetitive failed API calls on the dashboard we had to pull the plug.

    Hi @fariazz,

Thank you for reaching out – we are currently investigating a possible bug with the plugin related to syncing orders. To help us dig in, could you please reply back here with your WooCommerce System Status Report? Additionally, does this behavior still occur after switching to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Seventeen and deactivating all plugins but WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce? And lastly, were any products recently deleted from your store?

Thanks – we really appreciate it. The more details we can get about the situation the better our chances of a fast resolution.

    Thanks again!

Can I email the report to you? Don’t wanna make that public.

Unfortunately we can’t do that, it would cause too much disruption to our service.

And lastly, were any products recently deleted from your store?

Not recently, but we’ve had this store since 2014 and products have been deleted or turned into draft in the past.

    Hi @fariazz,

I totally understand the concern here. If you’d rather not disclose that information here the MailChimp support team would be your best bet moving forward. If you could get that information on over to them along with a link to this forum post that would be ideal. They can be reached following the steps noted in their Knowledge base, here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options#Contact-Support

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your response.

Since this type of integration was heavily promoted last year, I was under the impression that this just worked out of the box.

For the looks of it, it’s far from being usable for any mid-size shop.

What are your thoughts on the other paid Woocommerce-Mailchimp integration plugins?

We kind of need this now (paid Mailchimp customer), so it’s a bit disappointing to see that this integration won’t be happening any time soon (and thus, abandoned carts won’t be targeted)/

I will submit the details to the support link.

    I can’t contact support.

Every time I try (tried in both FF and Chrome), when submitting my ticket I get an error “Your Session Expired”. I re-enter my password and the screen gets stuck without submitting my ticket.

I’ve emailed the requested System Report to [email protected].
