Hi, I am unable to connect Analytics. When selecting “configure analytics” I get the error message “Error: The response is not a valid JSON response.”

I deactivated my Security Plugin Wordfence but that didn’t help.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

    Best
    Diego

    Hi Diego,

Thanks for reaching out with your topic. We are glad to assist. To help us troubleshoot, can you answer the following questions?

    1. Do you have any security plugins installed or and web application firewall rules configured?
    2. Are you seeing any browser console errors where this error occurs?
    3. To rule out any conflicting plugins/themes could you try the following steps:
    – Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    – Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    – Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    – From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    – Attempt to connect the Analytics module within Site Kit once more.
You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards. Please share your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately.

    Thank you!
