    Hi,
I successfully installed WP GoToWebinar on 7/3 and the form displayed as intended on my test page. However I went back to the page to finish building it out and I am receiving the error

‘The webinar either no longer exists or an error has occurred”.

I have cleared my cache, re-authenticated, and tried numerous webinar keys which all result in the display of this error message. I have been unable to find anything on Google to assist me in troubleshooting this issue.

    Hi,

Are you using the free or pro version of the plugin? Have you tried reauthenticating?

Are you using your application or our application? Whatever you are using, try using the opposite. If you are using our application, create your own, if you are using yours, use ours.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    To answer your questions:

    • We are using the free version as we don’t require the features of the Pro Version
    • I do not know what you mean by using your application or ours. Are you referring to the API Key and Secret?

The error for some reason now reads:

“Unfortunately API calls can’t be made to GoToWebinar accounts on a trial. If you do have a full GoToWebinar licence please try re-authenticating the plugin again by pressing the ‘Click here to get Auth and Key’ button in the plugin settings.”

This is extremely confusing as when I login to the GoToWebinar account there is nothing indicating it is a trial and it has been used for a long time now successfully. I see nothing in the plugin about a trial and could find nothing regarding a trial version of the plugin so I do not know what ‘trial’ the error is referring to.

Your response and assistance are greatly appreciated!

Yes, referring to API and secret. Have you filled this in or not?

    And have you tried re-authenticating?!

    Hi,

Yes I have created an API from within the GoTo Developer Center. It worked initially. I see no messaging indicating it’s a trial. I am running up to my deadline and this is becoming an urgent issue for me.

    Help is appreciated.
    Thank you!

    Hi @kristinrichey,

There are 2 options I believe:

    1) Use our application, so remove your application details from the plugin settings, save the settings and re-authenticate again.
    2) Ask GoToWebinar to increase the API limit for your application.

The issue is not with the plugin. Also if getting things working is a priority I recommend purchasing the pro version that way I can provide a higher level of support on your specific site to ensure things are working and it also helps me maintain the plugin. Thanks,
