    Hello,

I’ve been using Stripe for Woocommerce during the development of a site, and I’ve been able to make test payments with it just fine, until I upgraded the Stripe API version. I think that may be the cause of my problem, but I’m not sure, as rolling back to the previous version retains the error I’m now getting.

I’ve seen a lot of people have had this error in the past, but not with this particular Stripe log message:

    type: “invalid_request_error”
message: “Invalid currency: aud. You can change your account to process transactions in aud by adding a bank account for this currency at https://dashboard.stripe.com/account. Your account currently supports these currencies: cad, usd.”
    param: “currency”

The store is based in Canada. I am using WooCommerce Currency Switcher, however regardless of the currency I try to make test purchases with, and even if I disable/delete the Currency Switcher pluign, I still get the same error.

    Any ideas for a solution?

I’m having the same problem. Good to know I’m not alone! Any fix that you found? I’ve missed A LOT of transactions, luckily most have progressed through paypal.

    Hi Level Interface.

Just a quick question, do you have any other Stripe gateway plugins installed? Even if they’re not active?

I just found the Either Yith or another Stripe Plugin had updated and caused a conflict. I hadn’t been using them as they couldn’t handle different currencies so have been using s4wc for months.

Hopefully you see this and it is of some help.
