Hi, I made a brand new wordpress installation with woocommerce and flatsome theme (all current versions). There are no other than the flatsome required plugins installed. At the woocommerce main admin page I get an error: “There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.” How can I fix that?

@seanys, Yes the article you referenced is exactly correct. You will need to update your .htaccess with the appropriate security headers. Make sure to maintain a backup .htaccess file especially when setting up your Content Security Policy, as misconfiguration can break your site.

I too am getting this error in Woocommerce on every site I set up now. It must be a common problem.

“There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.”

Even I not install I-theme security plugin.

    Can anyone help. Thanks

This issue has still not been fixed in 2023

The Woocommerce setup doesnt work properly. Even though I successfully connected my Paypal Business account to Woocommerce and that was confirmed by Paypal, the setup is still telling me to connect a payment method. Same with shipping I set rates but it hasnt remembered them

    Hi @jane2023aurora @hatti99

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you are experiencing the same issue and since every site is different and you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic?

Additionally, please include your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

We’ll be more than happy to help there ??</img>

I had the same issue. It was a fresh WP install, no plugins. Then I tried installing WooCommerce and I said I also wanted to install Google Ads, Jetpack and other plugins that WooCommerce offered during the setup. Then I got this error message. When I deactivate Jetpack it works, when I activate I get this error again.

    Hey Guys,

I have a Woocommerce shop (under construction). I got the ‘There was an error getting your inbox.’ immediately after the fresh install. Looked at various places to find a solution but hadn’t. Then I tried to deactivate all the plugins except Woocommerce but still got the error msg. Deactivated Flatsome theme – no luck. Then in cPanel I saw that my active php version was 7.4. (the latest of the 7.x branch). I switched to php 8.2 (also the latest of the 8.x branch) and the error message disappeared.

Please note that the php extension mysqlnd and nd_mysqli are not the same and at my provider the required nd_mysqli extension was turned off by default, so at the first attempt to return to wp I had a crash.

    Hope it helps.

    Add the .htaccess
