    Hello, I want to report an issue with your plugin. I noticed that I cannot edit user accounts as it ends up saying this: “Error:?This email is already registered. Please choose another one.” When I disable your plugin, it then will let me Edit user accounts.

    I guess this is been an issue for some time, I looked at my older site in local.wp and it too has the problem.

    That version is: WooCommerce Version 7.9.0
    The new site is WooCommerce Version 8.0.2

    I have had all plugins removed when testing.

    The error message you see, “Error: This email is already registered. Please choose another one”, typically appears when there’s an attempt to use an email address that’s already in use by another user.

    Sometimes, the active theme might conflict with WooCommerce. To rule this out, please switch to a default theme like Storefront and see if the issue persists.

    Can you enable WordPress Debug mode in your wp-config.php file if the issue persists? This might provide more detailed error messages that can help pinpoint the issue.

    Also, please ensure that there are no duplicate email addresses in your user database.

    If the issue still persists after trying these steps, it’s possible that this might be a bug. We’ll need to investigate further. Please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

    Rest assured, I wasn’t able to replicate this issue on my testing server using both the 7.9.0 and 8.0.2 versions.
