Error trying to Backup

I have installed Backup and activated it. I was also able to successfully set up the Authorization for Goole Drive.
The scheduled backup did not take place a the specified time.
When I try to backup manually with the “Back up now” button, I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function absolute_path() in /hermes/bosweb/web107/b1074/glo.mbettich/mbettichDesign/blog/wp-content/plugins/backup/backup.php on line 296
What am I doing wrong? Does it have something to do with accessing the files at my hosting site? This seems to be the path to where my database lives on Globat hosting servers?
