Error: Unable to connect to inbox

Hi,

I can’t wait to try out this plugin but got snagged with an early problem connecting to my email account.

I create a new account in google apps, enabled imap etc – but when I try to connect from the plugin I get the following error:

Error: Unable to connect to inbox – Certificate failure for imap.gmail.com: unable to get local issuer certificate: /C=US/O=Google Inc/CN=Google Internet Authority

I’m sure it’s something silly I’m doing wrong – but was unable to find a solution here on the forum – or on google.

I also got my host (hostgator)to confirm imap is enabled in php – and it is.

Any ideas?
