Error: Unable to create directory

    I am currently redesigning a site but the way it was setup or the fact that it is outdated, not sure, I keep getting “Error: Unable to create directory” when trying to upload new media.

    I have went into the FTP and manually created the directory. When I save images into the folder, I can view them if I manually type in the file link – however it does not aggregate with my wordpress dashboard…

    Any ideas as to why I am having these issues?
