Error: Unable to process request – but why?

I tried to save some changes to an existing POD, but I received the generic error message saying that my request could not be processed.
I am able to make changes to other PODS with no problem.
I turned off caching.
I logged-off
I re-booted my laptop.
Each time, same result.Would this error be caused by some issues at the field-level?
Can this error message be made more informative?
