Error: Unsupported Currency

(Transaction Error) something is wrong.”

Hi, are you sure the error message is coming from our plugin and is not coming from WooCommerce plugin? Please read the following documentation. This shows you how to set up the plugin and how it works.

I receive two error notices:

This transaction cannot be processed due to an unsupported currency.
(Transaction Error) something is wrong.

If I change the store curreny to EUR I receive also two eroor notices:
This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant’s account is not able to process transactions.
(Transaction Error) something is wrong.

Probably It is because my store and my bank is not in USA. So outside USA there is no option to receive credit card payments without registration in PayPal.

Have you registered with PayPal? If you haven’t, then you need to create an account with PayPal in order to use this plugin.

Ofcourse i have paypal business account. At the moment i receive already payments, but only from regiatered paypal cuatomers. Because i am outside USA theybdont see the option to pay with crresit/debit card. Thats why i look for other solution in order to allow customers without paypal account to be able to pay with their credit/debit cards.

Hi, that is very strange. I was under the impression that when you have a PayPal business account, anyone can pay using a credit card regardless where you live. Or am I wrong?

Yes, you are wrong. Only in few countries customers are able to pay as guests with credit/debit cards, without paypal account.

So your plugin doesn’t help too much outside these countries. ??

We use the PayPal pro API in this addon. So it can only do what PayPal pro offers.

PayPal pro is offered to merchants of US and Canada. Once you have the PayPal pro API setup correctly, any customer from anywhere in the world can do a checkout using a credit card.

Have you tried the Braintree option? That can also help you accept credit card payments. I am not sure if Braintree is offered in your country though. We have the following addon for it:

Yes, that is exactly what i mean. The plugin works only in US and Canada. Braintree is my best option at the moment and I already opened account there.

I am curious to know why you are receiving the above error message. PayPal support staff should be able to pin point the issue.
