    Hello,
There is an open bug in WordPress 4.7.1/4.7.2
    (https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/39550) that blocks upload for
non-image files. This bug will be fixed in version 4.7.3, and until then you
    may use this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/.
Installing this plugin workaround the bug and after version 4.7.3 you should be able to
    remove it.

    You are most welcome ??

But I’m using WordPress version 4.7.3 and the problem still persists. So I used the mime disabling plugin to solve this problem but wasn’t WordPress version 4.7.3 supposed to correct the bug?

    Well,

Yes it was *supposed* to! Unforunately it did not really do it and created another reported bug as detailed here: https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/40175
So basically now we are awaiting a milestone from the WordPress Core developers who are assigned to the case.

For now that extra plugin or code modification are the only ways to cancel the bug.
It is important to note that it is not plugin related bug, any plugin that uses the upload feature of wordpress is affected from this bug, so using a different plugin won’t solve anything.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience it is causing our users.

I understand this is really an issue of WordPress, has nothing to do with this plugin, but disabling mimes is really solving this issue.

There is no plugin available to handle fonts embedding without any cost or coding, your plugin is the best of it’s kind ?? Thank you for this.
