Error uploading to S3: access denied

  • Hi,

    I try to implement AWS in to wordpress website. Since I am doing first this, I cannot make it done.

    I viewed all the support thread in this column, But I could not resolve this error.

    [client 127.0.0.1:57197] Error uploading C:\\wamp\\www\\New/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/log0.txt to S3: Access Denied, referer: https://localhost/new/wp-admin/media-new.php

    I am using wamp server and trying to implement one of the website to host the videos.

    I have checked IAM and Bucket policy in AWS. it is working from console. I don’t know, how to rectify this generic error (access denied) of unknown root cause.

    Anyone help me this?

  • what are the permissions you have set on wp-content/uploads ? Ar eyou able to upload anything at all, or just having issue with the text file?

    Hi Legend,

    I gave full permission to upload folder. It is windows WAMP. I could see the files in my upload folders. But unable to upload to S3. The uploading to S3 problem with all the allowed files (not specific any extension).

    The error message I copied here just for your reference what I have tried as testing to find the problem
