Hi, when I use the LinkedIn Insight Tag option on your plugin I get an ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error when I look in the google console inspector. The full error below. I actually don’t believe this is an issue with your plugin, but was wondering if you have come across it before and know how to fix it. LinkedIn support so far has been useless!
    Thanks.

    npagazani,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Unfortunately, We weren’t able to replicate the issue that you are having. I recommend that you turn off all of your other plugins one at a time to see if the problem persists. This would let you know if it’s a conflict with another plugin. You could also test whether it’s a conflict with your theme by switching to one of the default WordPress themes, like 2017. If the problem persists after that, it’s probably an issue with LinkedIn’s API or your actual LinkedIn Insights Tag ID.

You could also add the whole LinkedIn Insights Tag via the header/footer scripts section of our same RO Marketing plugin. I hope some of that helps!

It seems the error was being generated because of my location. I’m working out of a location that heavily filters it’s internet usage (site blocking). Once logged in through my VPN the error went away, and would come back once the VPN was off.
For whatever reason, part of the service LinkedIn is using is being blocked. The tag still works though.
And one more thing, and nothing to do with this Plugin, the LinkedIn tag adds about a full second of load time to my web page according to pingdom. I’m trying it for a while, but if I don’t get any value of the tag I’ll be removing it.

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll check it out to see if we can speed up the load time.

We aren’t able to replicate the 1-second slow down. It may be related to your VPN. You may want to try it in an incognito on a different internet connection (not using the VPN.)
