    Hello,

I’m a network admin of a Multi Site installatin of WordPress. When the automated daily backup runs here’s there error message which happens around 90K to 92K as warnings. Please keep in mind that not the same error it’s for the many files that error happens.

The network installation is served on a Debian system with debian guided network installation:

    https://wiki.debian.org/WordPress#Basic_Installation_guide_for_Wheezy

WARNING: File path “var/lib/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/plugins/js_composer/assets/lib/bootstrap/less/progress-bars.less” is too long to be saved correctly in TarGz archive!”

If you want me to provide any more details, i can provide. Thanks!

It looks like that you have a symlink in the plugins folder that points to plugins. and that is an endless recursion. normely you don’t need this symlink.

Any idea how to overcome that problem without removing the symlinks?

You can try to add to the excludes list “/plugins/plugins/” so that all folder and files with the doubble plugins in path well be excluded.

That helped pretty much, thanks for that good advise. There were around 90k warnings are 3 to 5 errors now down to 30k warnings ?? Only warnings no errors.

Will try that to exclude more directory and write here about the final situation.

Thanks again, have a good day.
