Error warning – Permission denied in class-wcj-wpml.php

  • Hello,

    Whenever I press ‘save changes’ in the Booster settings, it gives a warning:

    Warning: fopen(MYDOMAIN/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/wpml-config.xml) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in MYDOMAIN//public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/class-wcj-wpml.php on line 46

    The changes always seem to be saved allright. But the page that comes up after the ‘save changes’ does not show the changes. It shows the original page (without the changes) and with the above mentioned warning.

    When I reload the page, the warning is gone and the changes are shown.

    So it’s not a critical error. But it is strange.

    Any idea what might be wrong?

    PS: I am using the very latest versions of both wordpress and all plugins

    Thanks for letting us know – indeed some time ago I noticed that there is some problem on some servers with WPML. Will be fixed in next update, meanwhile you could just disable Booster’s WPML module (in WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Emails & Misc. > WPML) – the problem should disappear.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    The issue is partially fixed: there is no error anymore. But after pressing ‘save changes’ you do not see the changes themselves on the loaded page.
    You still have to refresh the page a second time to see the changes.

    But it’s a minor issue. Everything works.
