I get this error when I try to activate the plugin:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in \wp-content\plugins\custom-upload-folders-plus\custom-upload-folders-plus.php on line 336

    In total there are 6 lines in “custom-upload-folders-plus.php” where this occurs: 336, 570, 571, 584, 599, 600.

If I edit the file and change “[]” on the above 6 lines to “array()” then it activates correctly and seems to work correctly as well.

  • me too, me too…

Did also the above suggested edits and works for activation.
But the job is not done as described though: the images are simply uploaded to root /content/ folder and there is not user structure as I defined it.

Doesn’t work at all om multisite either.

Just fixed this (Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘) in the plugin sorry about that.

    John,
Are you still having issues with content not uploading into the correct folder?

If so can you check and see if you having any JavaScript error.

    cheers

I don’t see any update of the plugin – why test?

    “why test?”, point taken.

    cheers

That’s right, there is no more error with this update.
I was meaning “why test if the plugin version is the same?* – but now the plugin got updated and it works.

And also I got the custom folder created correctly!

There is only a slight issue when saving settings: I can’t see which settings were saved if I later want to edit them.

My test was on normal site, not yet on multisite though.

I deactivated and then reactivated the plugin and it worked. I consider this issue resolved.

John has a good point, we can’t see what settings were saved.

I will work on getting the “folder name builder” multi-select field to auto populated with your saved data.

cheers and thank you for your valuable input ??

Ok “folder name builder” multi-select field auto populated now in 1.0.2, also i added drag drop sorting for the field selections so you don’t have to delete and add them again if you want to change order.

    cheers

    Awesome, thanks a lot!
