• I am trying to add a new sermon but I get this error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I didn’t receive an email and their support has been unresponsive so I’m hoping someone here knows.

    Hello, my name is Jason.

I am one of the new owners of WP For Church and the Sermon Manager Plugin.

We have been going through a major transition from acquiring the business and will be supporting the plugin moving forward and kindly ask for your patience to address each and every concern that has been requested. We are currently assessing the code base and having our developer help us work out any bugs and work through any and all support tickets with a valid support license.

Anyone who is not on one of our support plans can continue to use the free version and view our online documentation that will be updated and added to.

We understand this isn’t the most optimal process but one we will have to embrace on our end to be able to respond and help as fast as possible.

We have many new improvements and plugins that are going to be released soon to continue the legacy of helping churches reach more people.

We wish you all the best if we are no longer the right fit for your organization but look forward to earning your business and trust once again.

    Hi jason,

is there any eta on when support questions may be answered? i have pro and my issue is really needing fixed as we can’t add any sermons at the moment.

I’m going to guess you have a theme or plugin issue and not a Sermon Manager Plugin issue. I would switch to one of the default themes, like ‘TwentyNineteen’ and see if that fixes it. If not, disable all plugins (except for SM) and see if that fixes it. If it does, enable one-by-one, until it “breaks” it.

Turns out it was Gravity Forms plugin. Their only suggestion was turning on no-conflict mode but that didn’t work. There are over 50 forms on this site so simply changing form plugins isn’t an ideal situation. Any other suggestions?

Not ideal, but could you can disable the Gravity Form Plugin to upload a new sermon and enable it when done? Perhaps @jasonmwestbrook has a suggestion/fix?

Yes, that is what we have decided to do for the meantime while waiting on a fix or better suggestion.
