    Hello

I have a problem with the bookings page. When i make a reservation on the admin side OR book thru the website on our non-profit site it always gives me an error like

sorry, there has been a critical error

the booking shows in the reservation list as should but the error always repets itself. First I had forgot the price but even after adding the price the error stil remains

    what can I do?

    sincerely/ Dominicus

I just tried to do a booking from the backend and it let me know: “Sorry there was a problem”

When I look at the reservations it has been reserved, but when I cancel it wp informed me that there is a critical error and I should follow the email sent to me.

I don’t get any email confirmation of the booking OR from wp explaining the critical error

    Hello,
Would you like a temporary login for looking at the matter?

How should I send this to you?

    Sincerely, Dominicus

    Hi @dominicusb.

It is not safe to disclose your password here, so we will try to fix the error without it.

Can you try creating a new booking calendar and a new theme and form for it (don’t use extra fields for the calendar)?

Don’t forget to add the prices and other options.

    Thanks.

i tried with a new theme and new calendar and made a testbooking from the backend and the error is the same

sorry, there was an error and the ”book now” clickable button keeps spinning like it doesn’t want to go further

    what now?

    Hi @dominicusb.

Some of our users also experience this error due to problems with the hosting server. Can you try it on another hosting or locally?

    Thanks.

ok I will copy it to a local dir and run it from there. Will take some time though as I’m currently in the middle of a huge workload and this is on my sparetime

    Hi

I wonder if you could look at my site and help me find the error as I haven’t time to search for it myself.
It’s a non-profit site for members only and you have to login to access the booking calendar.
The only error is “Sorry there was an error” or something similar. This is when booking. I tried making a new calendar and booking but the error was the same.

Please let me know if you can help me – I can also pay a fee for the support as it’s away from my own job if I have to make time for it.
Let me know and I will let you know privately a username, password and site info

    Thanks,

    Dominicus

I have a backup from akeeba backup if you want to have it and error search that way?
I have backups from 2 years back

I think the problem is in the emailing as the booking is registered but the email to confirm is not sent out. I have a few plugins in use to help me send newsletters etc.
