• Hi, if you add a lot of products to your cart and enter shipping information, it will not be calculated.

Here are some steps you can take to get this error:
    1. Go here:
    https://www.avshop.no/autocalc-lydisolasjon/
    2. In the “Lengde (m)”, “Bredde (m)”, “H?yde (m)” fields, enter “6”, “4”, “3”.
    3. Click the add to cart button at the bottom of the page below the table.
    4. In the cart in the block “FRAKT”, click “Endre adresse”, in the field “Sted” enter “nesoya”, in “Postnummer” the value “1397”.
    5. Click the “Oppdater” button.
    And after waiting, nothing happens…

How to get the expected result:
    1. Remove all but one item from the cart.
    2. Repeat steps 4 and 5 above.
You will see that available shipping options will appear in the Frakt block.

What do I need to do to fix this error?

    Hi,

By default the product quantity limit is set to 1000. This is to prevent server overload when trying to pack 1000 products using the packing algorithm. You can either increase this value or configure a fallback option when this limit is reached.
If you go to WooCommerce > Bring settings > Fallback options and scroll to the bottom you’ll find the settings there.

Thanks for the quick reply Eivin,

this error occurs even when there are 730 products in the cart (this is the amount you will receive if you go through the steps I described above).

I also checked the settings you wrote about (Product quantity limit for cart) and I have the following values in the following fields:
Maximum product handling – Do nothing
    Maximum product limit – 10000

    Hi,

I’ll do some testing on my end and see if I can reproduce this problem. It could be that 1000 products is too many and that the server runs out of resources. I would recommend trying to reduce the limit and see if this resolves the issue. Alternatively if nothing else works then you could try to disable multipack and see if that helps, but please be aware that this could result in no shipping rates available for your customers.
