Error – when change vendor for a product

    i am facing big issue – if i change vendor for a product then its all privous orders related to old vendor show to new vendor , however it does not show old vendor orders to new vendors dashboard, but in admin dashboard all older orders also shows to new vendors

  • Hello @dasad0,

    Actually, it is not very logical to assign one product to another vendor. If you assign a product to a vendor the order of that product will change as well. Say you have 100 vendors you are changing product author ID, after a certain time it will not be possible to find out the original author ID.

    The order fetch the author ID and show the author details there. Now if you still need to make changes as you want please contact here.

    I have already answered you clearly, that if you change the product author the order author will change. It will replace old orders too. Even the completed orders author will change as per product ID.

    I hope you get it now. If you change product author it will be changed on a new order as well as old orders.
