Error when confirming opt-in with WordPress Newsletter plugin

  • Hi,

    Have installed Simple WordPress Newsletter for a test run. Alas, when I try and and confirm my email address, I get this:

    Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/leedscar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-newsletter/newsletter.php on line 166
