Error when posting as guest

  • I’ve just installed this plugin, and when logged in it works beautifully, but when a guest posts a comment there is an error in the pop-up field. It says:
    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

    I’ve tried turning other plugins off to see if there’s a conflict anywhere, but I can’t find the issue. What am I doing wrong?

    Ok, found the culprit. It was the SI CAPTCHA anti-spam that caused troubles. Can you recommend another Captcha-plugin that works well with wpDiscuz?

    Hi kaqu,
    wpDiscuz has its own CAPTCHA, you can use it. Make sure you’ve turned on it in Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Hide / Show Components Tab
