I’m getting an error when using the “register” link at the top left of the page here:
    https://thebohemian.boutique/

After entering a username and email and submitting, I’m getting this error at the bottom of the form:
    Error
    Error

The form works fine when Spam Destroyer is deactivated.

I’ve got a course with thousands of students on Udemy, I’m showing them how to use this plugin. If this problem can’t be solved, I have to redo the video that shows my students how to install this plugin and recommend a new plugin which I would rather not. I like the simplicity of this plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

How can I go about replicating this problem?

What can I do to make a copy of that form you have there?

I’m surprised this error is happening, since the Spam Destroyer plugin shouldn’t interfere with other forms like that.

Hey Ryan, that was a fast response.

    Yeah, it’s strange.

If you want, I’ll just back this site up and you can log in and take a look at it and troubleshoot it. It’s a form that comes with the zorka theme.

I’ve verified this problem on 3 other sites, 2 students sites and my own.

If you could, go to JackRabbit.host and send a chat message, i’ll be on there so we can communicate faster and I’ll send you login info. That way I’m not posting it here.

Ryan, I’m back on the chat. Send me your email there so I can message you there.

I figured out what is causing the problem here. I was checking your login form, not the registration form which is why it was working for me when I was checking yesterday.

The issue is with your registration form.

It should be including the signup_hidden_fields hook, but doesn’t seem to have included that. Without it, it’s missing the Spam Destroyer’s hidden input field for the registration form. Any other plugins which utilise that hook will fail with your site too.

Cool, thanks for taking a look Ryan.

Are you able to include that hook once using the plugins functions if it’s not already included? That may be the fastest solution.

Otherwise I’ll have to talk with the theme developers and see if they can do this but who knows how long it will take before they release the update.

It’s not possible to add in fields like that in an automated fashion.
