I’m getting the following error when trying to submit a form for some subscribers:

“Mailchimp API error: 400 Bad Request. Invalid Resource. Your merge fields were invalid. – MMERGE16 : Please enter a complete address”

This is a weird error for the following reasons: (1) it works for any new subscribers and most existing subscribers, and (2) the MMERGE16 field, which is for an address, is neither present in the form nor required in the list.

Managed to fix this error by removing the address data for the subscribers in MailChimp. For these subscribers, only their zip code was saved and not their full address. By removing the zip code, everything worked. So, it was some kind of weird issue on MailChimp.

    Hello,

I’m glad you figured it out. In MailChimp, if you have an address field, then all fields need to be sent.
