Error when trying to Add New Site, “link you followed has expired”

  • I recenly installed WP multisite, but when I try to add a new site I get an error ” link you followed has expired” I use FileZilla and was unable to locate or add php.ini & .user.ini to increase the websites limits, I also came a cross changing the following line in the wp-config.php file

    define ( ‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘example.com’ );
to:
define ( ‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘www.example.com’ );

    But that didnt work either
    If anyone knows of a way to help that would be much apprecieated. Thanks
