• The Scenario: I have not touched my blog in 4 months, everything was previously working fine.

I went to modify my wordpress theme and get 2 errors, either 1 or the other:

Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
    HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error

Tinkered with WordPress, nothing, searched, nothing. I have contacted my host but after 3 “trouble tickets” they are pretty useless. I figured i would update to the latest wordpress and I still get the same errors. I can log into wordpress, make new posts and delete them, but i can not delete comments or modify theme/layout (ie sidebar.php).

    All my plugins are disabled.

Hopefully someone will know exactly what i am talking about and provide me with a link to browse through, i am not looking for you to do everything, just maybe a point in the right direction, thanks in advance. – Scott

I guess no one can find anything on it either ??

I just wish i had an idea of what caused the problem, usually its you do something and something breaks so you just backtrack and fix it. This time it broke on its own (i guess), so i have no clue how to fix it ;x

    Are you running ASP.net?

Hey man, I get the same problem here too but it is only when I edit post or create a long post. I don’t know much of this WordPress support but I made a thread about it 1-2 months ago, kept updating it and one moderator only told me to search the net. Thanks for the great support. I asked my hosting company more than 3 times about this and they say it is not a database error.
