Error When Updating Theme Plugin

  • When I try to update my theme or the Slider Revolution plugin included in my theme I get the following error:

    The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    How do fix this issue without having to get the plugin separately?

    Unfortunately, I am not the original author of this site. We had a web designer create it. I am new to working on the backend of websites and would need more guidance trying to locate files. My hosting company is GoDaddy. I have been trying to locate the corrupt file, but can’t seem to figure out its location within the theme files.
