Error when upgrading to PHP8

    I recently set my PHP version to v8. I have now the following errors when using images.

    Warning: Attempt to read property "ID" on null in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/managers/image.php on line 112 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_excerpt" on null in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/managers/image.php on line 113 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_content" on null in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/managers/image.php on line 114 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_title" on null in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/managers/image.php on line 115

    My wordpress version and the plugin is up to date.

  • Hi, Elementor is compatible with PHP since the start of 2021.

    Most likely some outdated Theme/ plugin causes this error.

    Try out our safe mode to and check if you still have the issue.

    “Safe Mode” is a safe environment that isolates Elementor and WordPress from all themes and plugins, it helps multiple users solve issues like this.

    Thanks for your reply.
    SaeMode does not help. However, I found out that exactly the same page on a different hosting provider, also with PHP8, this error does not occur at all. (PHP settings to display errors is on on both) I also deactivated all plugins but elementor, and the error stays the same.

    Hi, If you haven’t already, I would recommend you to contact your hosting provider.Ask them regarding this error and show them the log as well. Hopefully, they will be able to solve this issue.
