Error when using the WordPress Customizer

When changing a setting in the widget via the Appearance > Customize page the following error occurs:
“An error has occurred. Please reload the page and try again.”
Also once updating the plugin I get the following message: “No Images Yet” — Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before they get saved again?
