Error while updating WP-Statistics

    Hi people
    today I tried to update WP statistics in the WP dashboard and I got the following error message:
    Update Failed: {"success":true,"data":{"update":"plugin","slug":"wp-statistics","oldVersion":"Version 12.1.3","newVersion":"Version 12.2.1","plugin":"wp-statistics\/wp-statistics.php","pluginName":"WP Statistics"}} Fatal error: Class 'IPTools\IP' not found in /home/devadkf118/domains/devadivine.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/hits.class.php on line 56

    WP statistics still works so I guess it did not update.

    Should I manually update the plugin (download from site, replace it in FTP) and if yes, will I lose the data?

    Yes please manually update the plugin by replace all files with new ones
    And let us know about the changes

    I replaced the files using FTP and it’s working well now!
    It retained the data (history of visitors).
