    Hello there,
Thank you for the great plugin which I love to use.

Unfortunately I received errors when I did some updates yesterday.
I have the version 3.4.5 in oplace and received rthe following error messages on top of my WordPress Dashboard:

Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/vhosts/5000162962/medizinalkontor.de/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/backup/class-backup-utilities.php on line 55

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/vhosts/5000162962/medizinalkontor.de/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/backup/class-backup-utilities.php:55) in /home/vhosts/5000162962/medizinalkontor.de/htdocs/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

When navigating anywhere I received a blank (white) page, only navigating with the back button and then deactivating the plugin helped.

I needed to deinstall BackUpWorPress and use another plugin, but I would prefer to go back to BackUpWorPress as I like it’s simplicity and reliability.

I also wait with any update on my other websites where I have installed the plugin until I can be sure that here won’t be an issue like this.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

    Hello all,

As this is happening on other websites of mine as well I consider this as really serious. Is there anybody who may be able to answer? I need to disable and delete all instances of BackUpWorPress and to replace it by another backup plugoin as long as I don’t receive any hint or tip.

Thanks in advance for any useful ansewer and/or help.

    Best regards
    Winfried

I think this was corrected by the next release, but I apologize for the delay in responding. I’ll mark this as resolved but please come back and comment if you want to report further issues even after updating, okay?

    Sorry again for the delay!

    Hi Kat,
This morning I update BackupWordpress and still have the problem by updating this plugin: I received a blank (white) page. Result navigating with the back button was the plugin-pages but there I could not deactivate the plugin. I had to remove it via ftp and place back the previous version.

    What to do now?

    Kind regards Jacoba

Hey there @jacobaw – if you removed the old plugin, were you able to reinstall the newer version?

    Thanks!

Also @ WinfriedH – if you’re able to confirm whether the error is corrected for you that would be great – thanks so much!
