error with plugin –

    Hi, i just installed the free plugin. When i try to go to another page on the frontend: i keep getting the following pop up notification: “This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave – data you have entered may not be saved”.

    This is even for browsers when I am not logged in on the backend. I am 100% sure it is the plugin as once i disable the plugin, it goes back to working as normal

    the problem is still there if navigating from the contact page to another page.

    Are you trying to navigate away from the page where the Multi Step Form is embedded? If that’s the case, this behavior is desired to make sure your form data does not get lost accidentally and making sure temporary uploaded files are deleted from the server.

    If the Error persists in 1.1.4, please delete your browser cache to resolve the issue.

    Yup it was for the page that was embedded with the contact form. However even without typing in any data, it still pops out with the leave page warning.

    I think it would be nice if the pop up appears only when it detects data has been typed in. This is because some users may just be checking the contact page for contact information and not necessarily to send a message through the contact form. Just an idea.

    As of version 1.1.4, the warning message only appears when a file was uploaded via the form element. This ensures that if somebody uploads a file and decides to leave the form, we can execute a function to delete the uploaded file.

    Again, make sure to delete your cache for correct script behavior.
