[Plugin WPSongBook] error with plugin "could not be converted to string "

    I installed the plugin
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-songbook/

    After installation I found the page automatically “song” that should display all the songs included.

    Unfortunately, the page returns white screen with this error:

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /web/htdocs/DOMINIO/home/wp-content/plugins/wp-songbook/inc/wpsongs-functions.php on line 49

    I tried to change the subject and turn off all plugins, unfortunately I can not fix the problem. I tried to contact the developer, but is not responding.

    I also tried to send a donation to the developer but nothin:-)
