    Hello –

    Getting the following error each time we update the plugin on a site:

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 81 of the file /home/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/models/indexable.php. Error message: Class ‘Yoast\WP\Lib\Model’ not found

    It causes a fatal error every time.

    There have also been multiple instances where the new “Speed up your content” function prompts multiple times after the first had succeeded.

    Waiting on a fix to update the rest of our sites.

    Thanks.

  • Hi @viablethought,

    Thank you for reporting the problem here. We understand this is very frustrating.
    Can you please delete the version of Yoast SEO that’s currently installed and then install the latest (14.0.4). This should solve the bug you’re running to.

    Please let me know if that worked for you!

    Hello –

    That is not really ideal since we maintain over 100 client websites. Will this be fixed in the next release?

    Thanks

    @viablethought We apologies for any inconvenience with the recent release of Yoast SEO plugin.

    The Yoast_Model fatal error occurs because all the files weren’t removed from the system during the plugin update and the migration also crashed. As a result of that, the temporary solution would be to remove the existing Yoast SEO plugin and reinstall it on the relevant sites.

    We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
