• Hi.

I installed WordPress SEO by Yoast but it causes errors with the site. The homepage is fine, but any of the sub-pages give an error message unless I deactivate the plugin.

I have set up the plugin using the wpbeginner.com guide for Yoast but no joy there. The error I get is:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_queried_object() in /home/b51940/public_html/news/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php on line 352”

    The website is: https://BusinessSafety.ie
    Plugin version: 1.0.2.3
    Site hosted on linux server.

    Your thoughts are appreciated.

    Emlyn.

It works fine for all pages on my site.

    1) Turn off all your OTHER plugins.
    2) Switch themes to TwentyEleven

    See if it works.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can’t do that as it’s a customised theme for a business website. I’ll get onto the theme designer and ask him to look at it.

WordPress SEO plugin works only for WordPress version 3.1 and higher. That’s the problem you’re having. You might have to consider upgrading your wordpress version.
