Error: You do not have permission to create navigation menus

    Hi there,
    I’m using a free hosting where I installed WordPress 6.0.1
    Nothing to report until I changed the theme to Smartcube theme: this theme uses the new site editor.
    When I try to insert/modify the Navigator widget I always receive the message in the title.
    I read about this error in the forums but I don’t understand if it was resolved.

    Any idea?

  • I just installed the theme in the latest WordPress version 6.1.1. There I can edit the navigation block without any problems. Maybe an update of your wordpress version would already help.

    I’ll try the update.
    Unfortunately the automatic/manual update from 6.0.1 to 6.1.1 in 000webhostapp site is not able to finish correctly.
    I’m investigating if I can update WP by the File Manager.
