    Hi,

I have been having issues since v1.18.1 & therefore not updated Forminator on the main website. I have only updated here for Testing.

I am getting the message “Error: Your form is not valid, please fix the errors!” and the form scrolls down to the Terms and Conditions checkbox where there is another message “Selected value does not exist“.

There is also another form with similar errors.

    Can you please assist?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Hi @ssgconline,

Sorry to hear about the issues noticed. I could notice the issue when I test on your website. I’m afraid, we’ll the form export in order to further investigate what might be causing such behaviour.

Could you please share the form export so we can look closely at its existing configuration?

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Thanks Nithin,

I have uploaded both Forms I am having issues with to the folder below:

    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10gpekxATMLNv19K4ULo7d9CFPZGhX-c2?usp=sharing

Both forms are currently working on the live site which is running FORMINATOR 1.17.2 however they are having similar errors on the recent versions 1.18 & 1.19.
    * forminator-2022-grand-final-burrendong-form-export.txt
    * forminator-2022-gfs-round-4-windamere-form-export.txt

“Error: Your form is not valid, please fix the errors!” and the form scrolls down to the Terms and Conditions checkbox where there is another message “Selected value does not exist“.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Hi @ssgconline,

I imported the form to a test website and tried re-adding the checkbox field, which has fixed the issue at my end. Can you please re-adding the checkbox filed on your forms and check if that resolves the issue? Please try configuring option values without any special characters.

I noticed the checkbox field is used for “Terms and Conditions”. You can try using the “Consent Field” for the same. Please find more details here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#consent-field

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Thanks Nebu John,

I successfully updated the GF form recreating the Checkbox-field & the Consent-field – both seem to work OK but I will go with the Consent-field.

Please try configuring option values without any special characters.

Can you please advise what special character you found?

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Hi @ssgconline

    Thanks for response!

The “special characters” in this case would be an amperstand and comma used in option value, like e.g. this in “Terms and Conditions” checkbox of “burrendong” form:

    Yes,-I-agree-to-the-above-Terms-&-Conditions

Changing the option value (value; option label can stay as it is) to e.g. this

    Yes-I-agree-to-the-above-Terms--Conditions

    would make it work.

    Best regards,
    Adam
