I’ afraid I could not replicate the issue on my end. Would you please export the form that you’re using and share a download link with us?

To export the form please go to Forms > click on a settings icon > Export. Please see attached screenshot:

Thank you for sharing the export file. I’ve tested it on my end and could replicate the issue. Looks like i is caused because the hidden fields are set to Required.

I’ve reported this to our developers as a bug. In the meantime as a workaround, please change the field require settings to Optional, for these fields that have Visibility configured.

Thank you, that did allow me to submit the forms once I removed the required though of course I would prefer this was fixed so that we get complete information so I look forward to the update.

Please also let them know that content entered into the textarea boxes is ONCE AGAIN not being transmitted either in the email or in the submission record. Makes it pretty useless as a contact form haha

Also when the email is sent to the user and the admin after the form is submitted all questions on the form (not just the once they answered because of the logic) are sent to them… which is a suboptimal experience. They should only see the responses to the questions they were shown.

As for the “all questions being sent” – yes, I can confirm that, I’m afraid. That’s already known to developers and should be fixed in one of upcoming releases.

As for textarea content not being transmitted, could you elaborate a bit no this? I’m sorry if I’m missing something but I don’t see any reference to that issue in this thread and I’d like to test it more to see what might be happening.

Is this any specific field on the from or all of them? Are there any specific steps to replicate that (I’m asking because I couldn’t replicate so far)?

Hi Mark

It’s the final text area field (the only one to my knowledge). You can select the general question under “what’s up” and the “how can we help” text area field should appear. Type something in there and submit.

When someone types something there it doesn’t get saved when it is submitted so the field shows nothing in it either in the submission record or the emails with the responses.

There is already reported bug about this issue with missing values for the text field.
I can see that fix for it will be added to Forminator 1.13 (that is already in the QA).
