ERROR: Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page

    something strange is going on with my sitemap.
    yesterday acc to the sitemap, there were 52 pages sent to, and indexed 52 as well.
    today in the morning – 52 pages sent to and indexed 54!!!!!!

    right now – 52 pages sent to and indexed only 8 pages!

    can anyone guess what is going on?

    I gave up with this issue, just installed another sitemap plugin and at the moment I am using a traditional sitemap.
