“error”,”(#4) Application request limit reached”] after resaving information under options, it works again.

Sorry, I use the facebook app,
    — NOT — the Web-Dorado app. I do not use the WD app, Cheers. Every next day I see the error. When I save again, everthing is fine. Until next morning.

    Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience you have faced.

We have released a new version of Facebook Feed WD plugin, which we believe will resolve the problem. Please install the update, and in case you notice an error still, please edit your feed and save it once.

If you use your own Facebook app, you will need to submit it for review from developers.facebook.com.

Go to App Review page, click Start A Submission, then choose manage_pages.

Afterwards, press Submit for review. Please have a look at this video recording.

Note, that Facebook may require filling out some options also, such as uploading an icon, or privacy policy link.

Please let us know if you have questions.
    Thank you!

This has not been resolved with the new version. The error continues to pop up, and I already have my app/site approved and live with Facebook. The plugin has also broken the rest of my theme since it’s the 2nd page to load (parallax home page), nothing after it will load. Not sure where to go next other than trying a different plugin, so please check. I like this one a lot :/

I’m getting the same issue, it fixes for an hour or so then breaks again.

HI, I have the same error, even if i upgrade, still popup di error message and the plugin doesn’t work on frontend Displaying the same error message. Please WD Support, how we can fix it?

    I have same issue.
Now, I deactivated the plugins until the issue is solved.

I think they might have just fixed this issue with the newest update.

    1.0.35
Fixed: Crash on front end when API returns error
Improved: Use another access token if API request limit of current token is exceeded

That’s Great, now it works, thank you Web Dorado

Please let us know in the case you may have any further issues. We will help with pleasure.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

They haven’t been fixed. I’m getting the same error every time I try to make a new feed. As another poster said, I love this plugin and would rather not have to find a replacement.

    the same problem to @willpartidge
    Fix it plz

The error problem has been fixed but now the feeds are not actually updated correctly.

Hi, Wd Support, it is not clear if the submission at Fb Dev is optional or we must do it. And if we must manage an app, which data we have to fill up, wich app domain, which icon, which privacy policy. I manage WP site for many clients, I have to create an app developers account for each or I can use only mine? Sorry for all those question but the video and the step by step guide in your website is not clear. Is it the same for the pro version?

    Hi,

We are sorry that the guides have not provided answers to your questions.

We will be happy to answer all the questions that may arise.

Please note that in the case you are using your own app you should submit it for review.
In the case you do not want, please go to the “options” > delete the App ID and the App Secret and “save”.
In this case, the plugin will use our keys.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

We have had lots of problem with this “wonderful” plugin, always update with new version but always problem, the feed never synchronize with the real time.
We do not set up the fb api because it is not clear, even in your demo, and we do not want to use our fb app. Now we kindly ask if we buy the pro version we have the facility to use the plugin with more futures and less problems, because we like the service that the plugin provides and the client want to buy it, but only with a minimum of guarantee. Thank, hoping in a fast answer.
