    Hi guys,

When using miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication and the plugin WP-Members I get this error in my error_log:

PHP Warning: hash_equals(): Expected known_string to be a string, null given in /home/and009k3/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2377

The error is logged in the error_log exactly at the time when I sign in my wordpress dashboard.

Deactivating any of these two plugins will no longer log the error. But if both plugins are active the error is logged.

    My setup is:
    PHP 7.4
    miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication 5.4.22
    WP-Members 3.3.6

Can you replicate this error on your side?

    Thank you,
    Andrei

    Hi @andrei0luca,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We tried to replicate the issue on our end. It is working fine with the WP-Members. The?issue is also not related to the PHP or plugin version. Probably?it should be some other plugin that is creating a conflict. Our experts are looking into it.

We can also look into it over the screen share in your environment.?Can you please raise a support ticket using the plugin so that our developers can directly look into it? You can also send a query using the following link:?Contact Us??

    Hi guys,

Currently undergoing some debugging, trying to find the source of this error in the error_log.

So far it’s not the theme and it’s not another plugin since I deleted all plugins except miniOrange 2FA and WP-Members.

Hopefully soon I will come back with an update.

    Thank you for your support,
    Andrei
