    Subscribe2 plugin is not working anymore, it’s not sending the emails to registered users. I have this error line in the wordpress error_log:

    [04-Jan-2013 21:17:43 UTC] Eroare baz? de date WordPress MySQL server has gone away pentru interogarea SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘_transient_doing_cron’ LIMIT 1 efectuat? de _get_cron_lock

    I know it’s in Romanian, but I think you get it allright.

    Is this related to subscribe2? if so, what should I do to make it work again?

    The main part of that message that is of importance is “MySQL server has gone away”. That means the PHP code most connection to the database server. If it’s happening often it’s something your hosting provider need to look at.
