Error:Could Not find The template function

  • Please I have install wordpress 2.0.5 in my root directory and is running. The problem i encounter is that when i click write post, there is this
    error: could not find fin the template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditor Template.

    As such all the word functions bottons do not show.

    Please I need Help. I have try all i could to make it work but all my effort is abortive.

  • My suggestion would be to turn off the Rich Text Editor (TinyMCE).

    It’s not a fab application and can cause all sorts of problems.

    To do this go to Users and untick “Use the visual rich editor when writing”.

    This should get round the problem in the short term.

    I suspect this has happened because files were missed when you uploaded the 2.0.5 version of the software and the application is complaining about it.
