Hello Job-Manager Developers:

When enabling the WordPress “Debug” Function, i geht the following error (pls. see below). I have to say, that my whole wordpress runs (with lot of plugins) without any “Notices”, only Job Manager leads to this error. I would very much appreciate, if this could be fixed.

Could you upgrade to the latest version and see what the notice states? There is nothing on that line:

I update to the newest version, and the problem is on line 567 now:
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in D:\xampp\htdocs\test\wp-content\plugins\wp-job-manager\wp-job-manager-template.php on line 567

Code:
$classes[] = ‘job-type-‘ . sanitize_title( get_the_job_type()->name );

if I put a string like “d” instead of get_the_job_type()->name, then the error is gone. If I can further assist in Debugging, please let me know how I can assist.

Hello Mike!

Great, Problem is solved. I know understand what the problem is (I am new to your plugin).

In the backend, there is no mandatory field for “Type” (like freelance). and i did not assign this type therefore to save time in testing. If I check the type then the problem is gone.

NEvertheless, would be great to fix this, as type is not a mandatory field it can be empty and this error will also be raised by others too, who have no type assigned.
