Everytime I try to use the Meal Planner Pro plugin I keep getting errors. On the recipe plugin itself it says:

Notice: Undefined index: add-recipe-button in /home2/beverley/public_html/borntosweat/wp-content/plugins/meal-planner-pro/mpprecipe.php on line 842

Notice: Undefined index: add-recipe-button in /home2/beverley/public_html/borntosweat/wp-content/plugins/meal-planner-pro/mpprecipe.php on line 851

and the it repeat itself over and over.
On the recipe page itself, I have a line at the top that says:
Notice: Undefined variable: output in /home2/beverley/public_html/borntosweat/wp-content/plugins/meal-planner-pro/mpprecipe.php on line 1744

My WordPress and my theme are completely updated. Any ideas? Thank you!!

    Hi Beverly,

Error messages are never good but generally easy to fix. I’ve forwarded this to our dev team to diagnose the issue.

Do you see this issue when trying to create a recipe or after a recipe is posted? Are you using symbols in your recipe cards such as for measurement fractions, degrees, etc.?

Please try again later in the day to see if it’s remedied itself and I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from dev. It could be tomorrow before I have answers.

    Thanks,
    Commodore

    Hi Commodore,

    Thanks for the quick reply!
I see the issue pretty much as soon as I have activated the plugin and am trying to create a recipe (within the actual recipe box itself). When I ‘preview’ the recipe, the error line appears at the very top of the post.

Appreciate your help and I will try again later (although I’ve been having this problem for a little while and thought that updating my theme would have fixed it).

Thanks Beverly! We’re not seeing this with other food bloggers so is something unique to your site.

I forgot to ask if you’re using some sort of optimization plugin. These sometimes mess with or CSS and coding. We’re worked through this with most optimization plugin developers but you may be using one we’re not aware of.

If so, can you please try deactivating the optimization plugin, clear your browsing history, and see if this corrects the issue.

We’ll continue to look into things from our end.

Thanks for letting me know. If you find anything out I would be so happy to hear from you. I will try with the plugins.

    Hi Beverley,

We’ve released a new plugin version which should correct the error messages you were receiving. Can you please update to the latest version and see if all is good.

    Thanks,
    Commodore

    Hi Commodore,

Thanks for getting back to me!
I deleted the plugin, then downloaded the updated version. Unfortunately I am still getting an error (although different from before. Now it says:
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$id in /home2/beverley/public_html/borntosweat/wp-content/plugins/meal-planner-pro/mpprecipe.php on line 2256 )
I also contacted Host Gator about the issue, and they had no idea what it could be. I’m not sure how much they looked into it, but they seemed to think it was nothing that they could do.

I really appreciate your help in trying to figure this out.

It’s a catch 22…we released the new plugin version to correct the error messages you were receiving which it did but then the new version had the time display issue. Now that you’ve reverted back to v. 6.4.4 the error messages persist but the times display fine.

I hope this makes sense. The new plugin version coming out soon will correct both the error messages and the time display issue.

    Thanks for your patience.
