When updating to Update to 1.15.7 the forms loose all CSS Formatting.

When going into Elementor editor the form displays loads of CSS code in the area where it is inserted.

Forms Work fine on Version 1.15.4
If I roll back to Version 1.15.4 all is fine again.

    Setup is as follows:

    PHP version 7.4.26
    Wordpress version: 5.8.2

    Hello @rampling !

    Apologies for the inconvenience here!

Please let us know – it looks like the fields are missing and the CSS is displayed along with the form’s HTML and showing, right?

Also, how is the form added to the page? ie. through an element directly or in a Text/HTML element as a shortcode?

If it’s added through a dedicated widget, please try using a HTML element for now and add the form as a shortcode. Please let us know if that helped.

    Kind regards,
    Pawel

    Hi @wpmudev-support9

Thats right, the form labels are displayed on the page but nothing works.

In the back end added to the page through an element directly.

When element is added and form selected the element on the page in the back end just shows a load of code about 4 pages or more deep.

I have had to roll back to Version 1.15.4 for now as the site is live and in use.

Same issue here, two forms worked fine on previous version, now both only load static text and labels, some text boxes but no other form controls. All the fields text/labels are now visible even if visibility conditions aren’t met and the styling is all wrong, everything is visible on the same screen (despite pagination) – one form is loaded via AJAX on an otherwise cached page and the other is loaded as part of the page (which is not cached). It looks like the JS/CSS isn’t loading correctly.
Have tried removing all other plugins, resetting as well as removing/reinstalling Forminator, using default WordPress theme, tried deleting/reimporting forms.
I have a clone of my site which has the same issue since the update.
Rolling back to 1.15.4 resolved the issue on both my sites…
Not sure if it helps, since using default themes didn’t help, but the theme I use when not troubleshooting is “Sinatra”
Not sure how widespread this is, but it happens for me on two sites (main site and clone site), even when stripped back to being close to a bare WP install in regards to theme and other plugins and also with two different forms which also load via different methods, etc…
Any ideas what we can try?
Is there a security implication in not being able to use the latest version?
    Thank you,

Adding the forms to the page via shortcode in a block element seems to have worked for me on both forms.
Adding to the page via the Forminator widget seems to be having issues with the new version for me…
    I’ll update if I encounter other issues…

Appreciate the update on this @amatory

This is true, the bug is around the Forminator Widget so please try to remove that and use a Forminator Shortcode instead in a text element.

I’m sorry for any frustration this caused so far, our team is already pinged about this critical issue so they can provide a fix.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris
