Errors in header of site

When I install Ithemes Security I get these error codes showing in the top of my theme.
Warning: getimagesize(https://domain.com/dir/wp-content/uploads/Logo.png): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /home1/ww1234/public_html/dir/wp-content/themes/classic/framework/theme-functions.php on line 172
Warning: getimagesize(https://doamin.com.au/dir/wp-content/uploads/Logo.png): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /home1/ww1234/public_html/dir/wp-content/themes/classic/framework/theme-functions.php on line 173
If I disable your plugin then the error goes away.
because the error in not there when I disable your plugin, the theme author says the theme works ok without your plugin so it has to be your problem not theirs.the 2 lines of code on their theme are as follows
$logo_imagesize = getimagesize($logo_src);
$logo_fixed_imagesize = getimagesize($logo_fixed_src);Is there something I can do or which part should I disable to fix this error. Thanks in advance

Similar issue to this topic:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-right-on-homepage-header-warning-getimagesize
It looks like something in the .htaccess file is preventing access to:
https://domain.com/dir/wp-content/uploads/Logo.png
So temporarily reactivate the iTSec plugin (this will rebuild the .htaccess file) and then try and access the url:
https://domain.com/dir/wp-content/uploads/Logo.png
This will probably result in a 404 (Forbidden).
If so temporarily rename the .htaccess file and try again.
If the URL works after renaming the .htaccess file then we’ll need to identify which RewriteRule in the .htaccess file is the cause.Post your WP root .htaccess file and we’ll have a look at it.
dwinden
Correction 404=403
dwinden
Ok thanks I will have a look
Yes renaming the .htaccess file fixes it.
actually there is pretty much nothing in there
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /dir/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /dir/index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
Other sites I have used iTSec have a lot more..
the Version I have is Version 4.8.0So for some reason it hasnt written to the .htaccess file
Even tho the code is listed in the Dashboard and under Rewrite Rules.
There is no button to say Update the .htaccess file..Even after copying this manually there is still the same error
UPDATE
I renamed the .htaccess file and saved my permalinks again.
Looking at the file I get
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /dir/
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /dir/index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
and this time iTSec plugin is now activated and I DONT have that error again.
However the .htaccess file does NOT have any other info in there.
Should I copy the contents from the Dashboard and under Rewrite Rules and add it to the .htacess file.??Why has this not been done automatically from within the plugin??
In the WP root .htaccess file just remove this line:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^$ [NC,OR]
It should be at the very top of the file.
However saving settings in the iTSec plugin will restore this line in .htaccess file.For a permanent solution you can disable the Hackrepair blacklist from the iTSec plugin Ban Users section in the Settings page.
If the info provided above helps you solve the issue please mark this topic as ‘resolved’.

@wealthy
Oops missed your updates …Why has this not been done automatically from within the plugin??
Make sure the following iTSec plugin setting is enabled:
Write to Files [x] Allow iThemes Security to write to wp-config.php and .htaccess.
It’s the first setting in the Global Settings section of the iTSec plugin Settings page.

HI, I deactivated Ithemes to test if there was conflict with Beaver builder.
On reactivating I get a message; “Unable to update the /.htaccess file. You may need to manually remove the existing iThemes Security modifications and replace them with the rules found at Security > Dashboard under the “Rewrite Rules” section.”
I went to the .htaccess file in Public folder. This is only what was contained;
# BEGIN iThemes Security – Do not modify or remove this line
# iThemes Security Config Details: 2
# Enable the hide backend feature – Security > Settings > Hide Login Area > Hide Backend
RewriteRule ^(/)?getmein/?$ /wp-login.php [QSA,L]
# END iThemes Security – Do not modify or remove this line# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule># END WordPress
The Dashboard rewrite is;
# BEGIN iThemes Security – Do not modify or remove this line
# iThemes Security Config Details: 2
# Enable HackRepair.com’s blacklist feature – Security > Settings > Banned Users > Default Blacklist
# Start HackRepair.com Blacklist
RewriteEngine on
# Start Abuse Agent Blocking
