Errors in Webmaster tools

    Hi,

    I’m constantly seeing errors in webmaster tools.

    Invalid XML tag

    This tag was not recognized. Please fix it and resubmit.
    Invalid XML tag Parent tag: loc Tag: script

    Parent tag: loc Tag: a

    Invalid URL

    This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.

    Parent tag: image
    Tag: loc

    URL: http:.jpg?fit=1026%2C683
    Parent tag: image
    Tag: loc

    This appears to be preventing my images from being indexed. It’s been stuck on 18 indexed of 485 submitted for more than a month.

  • Hi, URLs like http:.jpeg?fit=1024%2C576 are indeed invalid. Hard to tell why this is happening. It looks like Jetpack Photon module is activated. Could you deactivate the Photon module and test again? Are there any other plugins running that have something to do with images?

    Can you share a link to your sitemap?
