• My client asked me to install this plugin. Upon activation at my local server, I received the following errors:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\xampp\htdocs\mytheme\wp-content\plugins\changetip\changetip.php on line 67

Warning: array_filter() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in C:\xampp\htdocs\mytheme\wp-content\plugins\changetip\changetip.php on line 74

Warning: array_values() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in C:\xampp\htdocs\mytheme\wp-content\plugins\changetip\changetip.php on line 75

I see that you’ve indicated that the plugin is compatible with the version of WordPress I’m using. What would be the cause of such errors?

  • Yup same problem for me 4.3.1

If you connect your changetip account the errors will go away. ??

Okay, I believe you. But, the only choice I have for connecting a change tip account is to login through some social media account. I’m not finding settings in the plugin to add my client’s credentials for their bitcoin wallet and I don’t have one.

So, how is this account connected outside of social media? Can it be connected outside social media?

I am not the author. This thing only accepts bit coin and then shortly after getting it activated without errors – my users were getting “You’re not allowed” so I have shut it off. The author seems unaware of any issues with it. Bit coin is neat – but I dont think enough people use it. I need a tip plugin that uses simple paypal.

Thanks for that, nexusbroadcast. I’m in agreement with you on the plugin author’s level of awareness. ??

Oh well – they have been answering my tickets – but wont address the locking my users out problem. It says its compatible with 4.3.1 but it is not. I think wordpress is the largest community which would use changetip – not a great idea to ignore us.
